Fees for phd students

1. Registration fees

The amount of the registration fee for the doctoral admission exam for Romanian candidates, EU, EEA, Switzerland, the United Kingdom (UK), and Romanians worldwide (where applicable) is 400 lei.
The amount of the file processing tax for non-EU candidates (CPV) is 250 euro.

The registration fee can be paid in the following manners:

Cash or by POS at the university cashier point ( 47 Domnească Street);
By payment order, bank transfer, or postal order, from any bank, into the account of the "Dunărea de Jos" University of Galați, with the mandatory completion of the following details:

Fee for the public defense of the doctoral thesis for candidates from Romania, EU, SEE and Romanians everywhere:
for doctoral students enrolled in the budgeted form of study, completing the thesis in time (3 year or 4 years) or during the extensions	700 lei
for doctoral students enrolled in the fee-paying form of study, completing the thesis in time (3 year or 4 years) or during the extensions	3.000 lei
Fee for the public defense of the doctoral thesis for non-Eu doctoral candidates:
for doctoral students enrolled in the Doctoral School of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, The Doctoral School of Fundamental and Engineering Scienes, and the Doctoral School of Social Sciences and Humanities for the domain Sports Science and Physical Education	540 euro
for doctoral students enrolled in the Doctoral School pf Social Sciences and Humanities, and the Doctoral School of Economic Sciences	440 euro
for doctoral students enrolled in the Doctoral School of Biomedical Sciences	1.000 euro
5. Other fees related to obtaining the habilitation certificate:
• Habilitation file evaluation fee	1.500 lei
• Fee for the public defense of the habilitation thesis:	8.000 lei
6. Processing fee for the application for the recognition of the doctoral diploma and the title of Doctor of Science or in a professional field obtained abroad	1.500 lei
7. Re-enrollment fee	100 lei
