Admission criteria for EU, EAA and SC citizens

 

  • The criteria for the entrance exam for master's degree studies are established by each faculty individually and can be consulted by accessing Annex 2.2.

 

Admission criteria for NON-EU citizens:

 

  • According to the language of instruction for each Master degree: proof of Romanian/English language competence (certificate of completion of the preparatory year or Romanian/English language certificate, minimum level B1).
  • The admission exam consists of a competition based on the application file, with the admission exam grade being 100% the average of the bachelor’s degree exam grade.

The interview will be motivational, without a bibliography, so candidates can easily switch from one program to another.

For enrollment in master's degree programs with a duration of 1 year and 1.5 years, candidates must be graduates of a 4-year Bachelor's degree program in Law (240 credits).

13. Fine Arts Music Theory and Practice of Lyrical Performance 2 years Phase I: Eliminatory, graded as PASSED/FAILED.
The candidate will provide the commission with an audio-video recording containing a presentation, by the candidate, of a research topic in the field of lyrical art that they wish to study within the master's program.
Presentation duration:  max. 5 minutes

Phase II: Practical test, graded with a score.
The candidate will provide the commission with an audio-video recording containing the performance of two classical musical works, with or without accompaniment.
Total video duration:  max. 10 minutes

The candidate takes account, through a declaration on their own responsibility, that they will provide the commission with their own audio-video materials, unedited in specialized programs or software.
The audio-video materials will be transmitted online to the admission commission at the addresses provided to candidates during registration.

The final admission grade is the grade obtained in Phase II.
Theatre and Performing Arts Theatre and Performing Arts 2 years Phase I: Eliminatory, graded as PASSED/FAILED.
Interview based on the Admission File - online (10-15 minutes). The admission file includes:
  • Activity report (and CV - European format);
  • Research topic – written (a theoretical argument on the creative and artistic research directions in the candidate's field of interest, 3-5 pages, formatting: 12”; 1,5; Times New Roman).
Phase II: Test based on the Admission Repertoirepractical test (7-15 minutes), graded with a score:
The candidate will provide the commission with an audio-video recording containing the performance, by the candidate, of two monologues from contemporary drama.
The candidate will have two monologues from universal contemporary drama or chosen from a movie or TV series in their admission repertoire. The two monologues must be different in dramatic genre and approach to highlight the candidate’s versatility.
The candidate takes account, through a declaration on their own responsibility, that they will provide the commission with their own audio-video materials, unedited in specialized programs or software.
The audio-video materials will be transmitted online to the admission commission at the addresses provided to candidates during registration.

The final admission grade is the grade obtained in Phase II.
Visual Arts Painting 2 years INTERVIEW - the test consists of two components, graded with a score:
  1. The candidate will present to the commission a CV accompanied by a printed portfolio with works from their personal creation and a completed plastic arts research project. Graduates of the current year may briefly present their bachelor’s project - 50% of the final grade.
  2. The commission will ask the candidate to present, in broad terms, the future thesis topic that they will develop and complete over the course of the two years of research. - 50% of the final grade.

[1] The faculty will operate under this name after the publication of the Government Decision (HG) 2025-2026, starting with the 2025-2026 academic year.
