1. UNDERGRADUATE UNIVERSITY STUDIES

 

Candidates may apply either at the specially designated center at the University’s main headquarters, in the Multimedia Room, or online by uploading the documents on the platform inscriere-admitere.ugal.ro, according to the admission schedule. Candidates who choose to register at the specially designated center will submit an envelope containing the following documents:

  1. the registration form, the candidate's commitment, as well as the consent declaration regarding the processing of personal data (to be completed when submitting the file);
  2. the baccalaureate diploma or its equivalent, a copy certified as true to the original and an authorized translation of the original document
    • original diplomas from Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal, and Cyprus will be stamped with the Hague Apostille.
    • original diplomas issued in countries that are not parties to the Hague Apostille Convention will be super-legalized by: the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the issuing country, the Embassy/Consular Office of Romania in the issuing country, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania, or the Ministry of Education in the issuing country, the Embassy/Consular Office of the issuing country in Romania, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania.     • the certificate of passing the baccalaureate exam from Italy; Pruebas de Aptitud para el Acceso a la Universidad, qualification Apto from Spain; Panellinies Exetaseis – certificate for national exams for general high school in Greece; certificate issued by Verket för högskoleservice regarding access to higher education in Sweden; Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or ACT from the USA, etc. – a copy for study documents written in international languages (English, French, Spanish, Italian) or a copy and legalized translation into Romanian for study documents written in other languages.
  3. academic transcripts for all high school years (grades 9 - 12/13) and for the baccalaureate exam (or equivalent) –  a certified true copy of the original and the legalized translation of the original document;
  4. the certificate of completion of the Romanian language preparatory year or a Romanian language certificate, minimum level B1- a certified true copy of the original;
  5. certificate/attestation of recognition of high school studies issued by CNRED, or the application for recognition of high school studies for the purpose of university admission (as applicable - Annex1-UE);
  6. the passport - copy;
  7. the birth certificate – a copy and an authorized translation;
  8. a copy of documents proving residence abroad;
  9. the receipt or proof of payment for the application evaluation fee - 50 euros (non-refundable);
  10. four passport-style photographs;
  11. medical certificate issued in the candidate’s country of residence, certifying that the prospective student does not suffer from contagious diseases or other conditions incompatible with university studies, translated, where applicable, into Romanian, English, or French.

In the case of study documents issued by educational institutions operating under the British system, predictive results are not accepted. The University accepts only study documents that include the final grades obtained in the baccalaureate/equivalent examination. The list of diplomas issued under the British system can be consulted by accessing the following link: List of high school diplomas recognized by the Ministry of Education and Research;

All copies required for the admission application file must be certified as 'true to the original' by the person within the admission committee responsible for this task.

 

Candidates who choose to apply online may upload the documents listed in points 1–11, scanned or photographed in JPG format, on the platform inscriere-admitere.ugal.ro, in accordance with the instructions provided in the online registration guide available on the website. These must be accompanied by a declaration on one’s own responsibility regarding the authenticity of the documents and the correspondence between the digital/scanned copies and the originals.

In the case of online registration, the standard application form, the candidate’s commitment, and the consent declaration regarding the processing of personal data correspond to the steps completed during registration on the dedicated platform and are generated by the platform.

 

2. MEDICINE STUDY PROGRAM (IN ENGLISH) AT THE FACULTY OF MEDICINE AND PHARMACY

 

Candidates who choose to register at the specially designated center will submit an envelope containing the following documents:

  1. the registration form, the candidate's commitment, as well as the consent declaration regarding the processing of personal data (to be completed upon submission of the application file);
  2. the baccalaureate diploma or its equivalent –  a certified true copy of the original and the legalized translation of the original document;
    • original diplomas from Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal, and Cyprus will be stamped with the Hague Apostille
    • original diplomas issued in countries that are not parties to the Hague Apostille Convention will be super-legalized by: the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the issuing country, the Embassy/Consular Office of Romania in the issuing country, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania, or the Ministry of Education in the issuing country, the Embassy/Consular Office of the issuing country in Romania, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania.   4. International language proficiency certificate (English) at a minimum B1 level, or a language proficiency certificate obtained from the Continuing Education Department of DJUG, not older than 2 years – copy certified as true to the original;
  5. the certificate/attestation of recognition of high school studies issued by CNRED or the request for recognition of high school studies for university admission (if applicable, Annex1-UE);
  6. the passport (valid for at least 6 months from the moment of submission of the application)– a certified true copy of the original or another identity document that proves the status of a citizen of a European Union member state, the European Economic Area, or the Swiss Confederation;
  7. the birth certificate -  a certified true copy of the original;
  8. the receipt or proof of payment for the application evaluation fee - 250 euros for foreign citizens and 1250 lei for Romanian citizens, non-refundable fees;
  9. four passport-style photographs;
  10. medical certificate issued in the candidate’s country of residence, certifying that the prospective student does not suffer from contagious diseases or other conditions incompatible with university studies, translated, where applicable, into Romanian, English, or French;
  11. candidates whose academic transcripts list subjects with names other than biology/chemistry, but which correspond to biology/chemistry, are required to submit a certificate issued by the high school, confirming that the respective subject(s) are equivalent to biology/chemistry;

  6. certificate/attestation of recognition of high school studies issued by CNRED, or the application for recognition of high school studies for the purpose of university admission (as applicable - Annex1-UE);
  7. passport - copy;
  8. the birth certificate - a copy and an authorized translation;
